Restaurant Review

The history..

I’ve never claimed to be a food expert (working on that) but only a food lover. Taste is very subjective. “One man’s meat is another man’s poison.” as the saying goes. By some mere coincidence whether conscious or unconscious on my part, I somehow become a ‘walking food guide’ to my friends. It’s common for my friends to call  just for my recommendations of restaurants. And the words go around. I take my recommendations with a serious authority and pride. My personal recommendations will take into account of the personality, preferences, occasion, taste, budget and location ( like a selective search engine). Like a proud mother (I can just imagine that), I feel the joy and satisfaction when my fellow friends came back with happy stomach and raving reviews.

Dining experience does not only involve food but also a celebration of memories. How many times do you connect a certain food or restaurant with people or events in your life? Therefore,my restaurant review will have a personal touch with my recollection of memories, food pictures to entice  your taste buds ,every imaginable descriptions of food and hopefully generate enough interest for you to pick up your phone and book it in! And, if you come back happy, I would consider I’ve touched another stomach life. Jean-Antheleme Brillat-Savarin (1755-1826) said it best when he said “The discovery of a new dish does more for human happiness than the discovery of a new star.”
